Since it's London Fashion week I thought I'd ease myself back into the blog with a post about yesterdays Topshop Unique show. Every season the Topshop show is one that I really look forward to, mainly because I know if I see something that I like I have a reasonable chance of being able to purchase it. Unlike most other shows where it would take me a year to save for something and then you wouldn't be able to get it any more!
Yesterdays A/W Topshop Unique show didn't disappoint with inspiration coming from Disney's 101 Dalmatians and the glamour of the 1930's. The details in the show where amazing with the 101 Dalmatian theme featured in everything from the dog noses on the make up to the spot printed nails (I'll be trying to recreate this at the weekend) and gorgeous little dog belts.
And then there were the clothes, which I surprised myself by really loving pieces that wouldn't normally go for. My favorite outfit looking like a pair of out door pj's, not my style at all but as I saw them move down the catwalk I fell in love. I'm also feeling the need for a large fur stole (fake of course) and a Disney jumper to wear under a blazer.
If you haven't had a chance to take a look at the show you can watch the video here, it's well worth a look.
